Dr Strategy

Last week my professor told me that in order to get full class credit, i have to comment twice in every class. My class is thirty students large, which means if everyone were to follow this absurd rule, we have about 15 minutes for the professor to talk given that everyone limits their comments to 60 seconds. Considering the first 5 mintues of the class is taken up by my professor's song of the day, we have to come up with 60 comments based on 10 minutes of lecturing.

My professor also makes $150K per year
He speaks 10 minutes a class
teaches twice a week for about 40 weeks
he gets paid $5625 per hour of lecture
$93 a minute

What a shitty guy

Place your bets

I don't want to come across pessimistic, I like Tyrus Thomas, but i'm skeptical. Lets just say if the Bobcat's were gamblers, they'd have no fingers left. Bob Johnson is so hell bent on trying to find a bargain, he ends up stocking our team with a bunch of lackluster potential, but no real talent (with the obvious exception of Captain Jack, Gerald, and the Nazr Squad).
.
Lets take a look at some popular highlights from the Bobcat's archives
.
Adam Morrisson - "He'll learn to play defense, either way he's got a great shot-and what passion"
Sean May - "He did so well in the NCAA tourney, I'm sure he's on the upswing."
Ajinca - "A star in France, I'm sure that translates"
Ryan Hollins - "Shaq's 7 feet, he's good. Ryan's 7 feet..."

Tyson Chandler inconsistency is making a strong run at this legacy, and im tired of it.

No, I don't know what Thomas is going to do. He's got reasonably strong (but inconsistent) numbers, and he provides more potential for explosiveness, especially when compared to the lot of the pussies we've had play in downtown Charlotte.

No you don't Sean, you suck. But seriously, thanks for the championship.

I 'd like to say I'm optimistic, but our history has made me think otherwise. I want him to do well, and I want him to play like i thought he would with the Bulls--but he's going to have to prove it.

Eurodog, good work on the quick posting-obviously a busy day in the office

Faster than ESPN

I am reporting BEFORE ESPN that Tyrus Thomas has been traded from the Chicago Bulls to the Charlotte Bobcats for Acie Law, Flip Murray, and a future 1st round protected pick. I am a huge Flip Murray Fan, but really like this trade. 2 reasons

1) A bobcats draft pick is worth nothing if the Bobcats are making the pick. (Adam Morrison, Sean May, Augustin, ect....)

2) We need help on the front line and Tyrus Thomas is young and athletic. Larry Brown can use his potential and now maybe we can see what Gerald Henderson has to offer.

For all you followers out there.....SMAZ....You heard it first from the Eurodog. Faster than ESPN.

Retrospect

Looking back, I wish I had stayed at work and not watched the Bobcats or Heels game. Watching the Bobcats lose to the worst team in NBA history and the Heels get punished by Georgia Tech made me miss this hell hole I refer to as my cube. How I wish I was responding to work emails and deciphering a $10 audit different as opposed to watching Larry Drew dribble off his knee for the 1000th time this season.

Really?

It's 8:59pm. The Heels tip off in one minute. I'm debating whether I can sneak out of work to catch the game. Who has to sneak out of work for a 9pm game?

Really?

Where your tax dollars are going

My food class, thats where. to clarify, im not in cooking school nor am i culinary arts major. i study business, but one night last year i found this gem of a class and decided to pursue. its not about cooking or diet, its about eating

every tuesday and thursday i learn all about the culinary history of popcorn at movies, new orleans food markets and about some cakes that people hide plastic babies in. I dont even have an A in this class, because apparently my food diary last week lacked pictures.

This is the Bacon Explosion (2lb bacon, 2lb sausage) - the topic of my last assignment

what does this say about my life? i thought tuesdays and thursdays were about meaning. i waste tbe rest of my week recovering from my bad habits/decisions, but on these day i'm supposed to be exploringthe far reaches of human thought

i just read on public records that my food professor makes more than all of my friends and i will next year. who do i have to do around here to get into this business.
